Marble,
shining stone.

It glitters, the extracted form
and it affirms itself in our eyes. 

Bear skull of carved marble, 
locks up life’s  wild strength 
and also the door to the presence.

There is absence of living wild
but it reveals itself as an idea,
in the shadows of the carved notches
and inside the veins of the marble.

This absent presence recalls the ancestral fear.
