The marble skeleton
Last witness
Where around
There was life of flesh,
of muscles
of tendons
of strength.

Matter now gone
devoured by ants.

But the living remains
between the wings of the dancing golden bees
and they will give life to something else
and more.

Stone skeleton that shines,
marble symbol of the broken eternal circle
of living and dying.
